Those early encounters with nature put into place the platform for my journey to become a wildlife photographer. Ali's sheer passion for wildlife was born out of a love and fascination of the natural world from a young age.
Natures evolving timeline enables her to get close enough to capture the animal’s beauty and behaviour which both feature strongly in her style of photography. Her ambition and drive is to show a wild animal within their natural habitat and is the foundation to her work today, through the images she see's then frame, through her camera’s viewfinder.
With each shot and image she is seeking to define the creative and emotional attachment to nature. creating a unique and artistic refection of the time in the field. Her insight and focus is to use these reflections of the natural world to bring people’s awareness of what beautiful wildlife we have on our doorstep and all around us and the importance of conservation and the need to preserve our national heritage.
Capture the Moment's images represent an event that occurred in the wild something that she witnessed and recorded with her camera. Her skill lies in interpreting and presenting this in a way that invokes beauty, mood and emotion with each moment captured. Her representation of this world is her interest for creating a unique and artistic reflection of what she see's and her images are simplified visions of this seen through her eyes, with the emphasis on composition, lighting and colour at the very heart of each picture, capturing their beauty, fascination and graceful expression with each image.
Capture the Moment photography’s power rests on the belief that it represents an event that occurred naturally in the wild; something witnessed and recorded by the photographer with her camera at that given time. Clever use of friendly animals, hot spots, bait and the pre-arranged perches or props along with digital technology has forced everyone to re-evaluate and question the validity of images they see now.
As a responsible photographer of wildlife Ali captures her images as seen on the ground. She always put the welfare of the subjects life and care of the environment above any photograph she take. She never use flash, props, live bait or any bait that will adversely affect the behaviour of an animal.
She is always honest in declaring the circumstances under which a photograph has been taken by herself. She never use digital manipulation to misrepresent a subject or mislead the viewer.
